Glass Case

This glass case is a challenging project.  The case is made of 3 glass sides with glass doors.  The challenge is to make the case rigid and square.  To do this, I cut precise slots in the top and bottom sections and tensioned these around the glass with threaded steel rods.  The rods have a secondary use as shelving supports.  The materials used in the piece include cherry, curly maple, glass, steel and aluminum.
